How to reach us
From the Florence airport "Amerigo Vespucci"
Hotel Dalì is located 15 kilometres from the local airport: a taxi from the airport to Hotel Dalì costs about €20. For a less expensive travel, take the shuttle bus that connects the airport to the town of Florence: tickets are available on board and cost €4 each. Then take the city bus nr. 14 or 23 (heading towards the Duomo) and get off at the 3rd bus stop: before getting on the bus, please remember to purchase the tickets (€1 each) at the kiosk located near bus stops.
By car
The nearest highway exit is "Firenze Sud" (South Florence). After leaving the highway, please follow the signals with the CENTRO direction.
By train
Florence can be easily reached by train from most of the major italian cities (Rome: one and a half hour; Milan: three hours). By walking, Hotel Dalì is less than 15 minutes from the "Santa Maria Novella" railway station. Please read below.
Walking from the "Santa Maria Novella" railway station
From the train platform, turn left to exit the station (near the exit you will see a McDonald's and a "farmacia", or pharmacy). Turn right and follow the stairs down to the station underpass/underground mall. Continue straight through the underpass; you will return to street level across the square, just to the left of the church of Santa Maria Novella, on Via de Panzani. Continue straight down this road. Follow Via de Panzani and then Via de Cerretani, for several blocks. After a few blocks, you will find yourself in Piazza del Duomo, facing the Baptistry and Duomo. Walk straight past the Duomo, with the church on your left side, until you find Via dell'Oriuolo: we are there, at Via dell'Oriuolo nr. 17.
